Yuchang Hua

Hi! I'm a senior undergraduate in Applied Psychology at Nanjing Normal University. I am passionate about psychological research. My main ongoing project focuses on the association between millisecond-level objective app usage records and mental health.

I have strong coding skills. I am proficient in R for data analysis and capable of conducting nearly all types of statistical analyses used in psychology. I am also proficient in Python machine learning workflows and placed 2nd out of 238 teams in the WARN-D machine learning competition. In addition, I developed a WeChat Mini Program that integrates RCT and EMA designs.

I have project experience spanning educational psychology, clinical psychology, and behavioral science. Beyond good academic writing skills, I also possess outstanding research visualization abilities—ranging from drawing flowcharts in Adobe Illustrator to visualizing complex datasets with R.
